Borders Printable Coupon – 40% off through 3/28

The Borders Book and Music store at the Severa...

A 40% off coupon at Borders Books always makes my day.  I simply can’t let one go to waste.  I keep a list of a few hardcover  books I would really love to have and patiently wait for a 40% off coupon from Borders.  Books are one of my indulgences – probably my favorite one.  I make good use of my local library, but that just doesn’t compare to owning your own copy of a favorite book.

This coupon is only good through 3/28/09, so don’t waste any time!

My Sunday newspaper doesn’t always include the Joann Fabrics and Craft Store sales flyers.  So, I’m missing the 40% off any regular priced item coupon that week as well.  Did you know you can search for them online?  Sometimes it takes a little looking online though.

Here’s the one for this week, and it expires Saturday, March 7, 2009.  You can print it and use it in the store.

Joann Printable Store Coupon expires 3/7/09

Amazon Bargain Shopping Tips

Image representing Amazon as depicted in Crunc...

Well, the hand injury went from 15 stitches to needing surgery to repair the nerves I severed from the cut.  So now I’m in a splint for at least another 2 weeks.  Hunt and peck typing with 1 hand is frustrating and slow.  So I thought I’d highlight another great blog, Bargain Briana.  This is another money-saving blog in my RSS reader.

Bargain Briana did a great series on saving and earning money with Amazon.com.  It’s a 4-part series and covers Amazon’s features like wish lists, shipping, selling on Amazon and Amazon deals.  It’s very well done.  I highly recommend you check it out before you start your online holiday shopping.

Learn How to Save Money at Walgreen’s

My posting will be a little slow for the next few days or so.  I’ve got 15 stitches in my left hand.  Who knew washing dishes was so dangerous.  I was washing a glass dish that broke and cut into my left hand.  That can sure put a dent in your weekly schedule.  Nothing much is getting done this week.

I am able to read blogs, and came across a great post on Saving Money Ideas.  This is a beginners’ course in how to save money at Walgreen’s and take advantage of the money-saving programs Walgreen’s offers, like rebates, register rewards and Walgreen’s EasySaver.  It’s definitely a post I can highly recommend:
